"The Good News!"

God made us.  He wants a personal relationship with us, but our sin separates us from Him.  He is holy.  Any sin, no matter how small by our standards, separates us from our holy Creator according to His standards.  But the "Good News" is Jesus Christ, the Son of God, paid the price for our sin so that we may be united with our Creator and have a personal relationship with Him!  However, we must believe and accept His gift of sacrifice and love and acknowledge Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

Here's what God's Word, the Bible, says...

John 14:6:  Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."

Romans 3:23:  For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Romans 6:23:  For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 5:8:  But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 10:9:  If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

John 1:12:  But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.
