Youth Time

Each Mars Hill Acts 17 event includes “Youth Time,” a part of the program for youth to take the stage and share Christ with their peers.

Youth groups are invited to sign-up to share a 3-5 minute presentation such as a song, skit, mission trip report, favorite Bible verse, or something just for fun.  Advance sign-up and approval required.

Requirements for Presenters

1. Presenting youth must be in good standing at a Christian, Bible teaching church.

2. Presentations must align with God’s Word and be pleasing to Him.

3. At least one week advance notice required for approval and planning

4. This is not a “talent show” to showcase talent; let God shine and encourage others.

A LOCAL MISSION OPPORTUNITY

This is a great local mission opportunity for individual youth or youth groups to share Christ with peers and step up as positive role models.

Let’s encourage our Christian youth to step up and experience God using them!  Months after an event, youth typically remember what the other youth shared at the event, NOT the great music and adult speakers.  So even when Satan keeps whispering, “You have nothing to offer,” God can use our youth!  They can have a tremendous impact and be a huge encouragement to others.  The smile on a young person’s face after they realized God just used them is AMAZING!

However, a Mars Hill Acts 17 event is just one opportunity…   We want to encourage youth to see the opportunities God gives each day to be His Light to others.
